As a firearms advocate, do you think there should be firearms?
We begged for that. A national license, good in all fifty states, with a training class, fingerprinting, an interview with a Sheriff's Dept expert, a $100 application fee, a five-year renewal period, a background check that includes mental health records, and a four-month wait. The anti-gun lobby rejected it, because it was called "Concealed Carry Reciprocity". Perhaps if the same thing had been called "Super Tough We Really Mean It Gun Restriction License For Small-dick White Male Rednecks", they would've had the brains to support it.
